Christmas Village returns to the Presidential Palace on December 13–14
A fairy-tale Christmas village will open at the Presidential Palace in Cyprus on December 13 and 14 and will be accessible to the general public. The event is organized at the initiative of First Lady Philippa Karsera-Christodoulides in partnership with the Deputy Minister of Tourism and the Press and Information Office.
Craftsmen from across the island will participate in the two-day event, offering traditional Cypriot dishes, organic products, handmade decorations, ceramics, and decorative items. The organizers emphasize that the market aims to support small businesses and preserve local crafts.
The program includes live music, children's entertainment, and an opportunity for families to meet Santa Claus in a specially prepared house. A premiere of a film prepared by the Press and Information Office is also planned.
The charitable component remains central: participants of the fair will donate 10 percent of their proceeds to the School for the Deaf Aid Fund.
Parking will be organized at the English School; from there, visitors can take a free bus to the palace grounds. Direct access to the palace grounds is allowed only for vehicles with parking permits for persons with disabilities.
