Travelling to Cyprus via Schengen countries - who is allowed to leave the transit zone and who is not?

Only holders of EU passports or Schengen residence permits can leave the transit zone and change airlines.
Holders of Cyprus residence permit (Pink Slip), moreover, holders of a resipt (paper, which is issued after submission of documents for Cyprus residence permit) are not allowed to leave the transit zone of Schengen countries. Also the holders of Cyprus National Visa, visas of Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, holders of Moldovan and Georgian passports must stay in the transit zone.
